Paint Stewardship RFPs

PaintCare and the Product Stewardship Institute (PSI) seek proposals for two paint projects: a source reduction study and an Oregon consumer awareness survey. Deadline for each proposal is Sept. 18, 2015.

Post-Consumer Paint Reduction Study: PaintCare and PSI are soliciting proposals to conduct a study on the measurement of, and strategies for, reducing the generation of post-consumer paint. The goal of the project is to develop a methodology to measure the generation of post-consumer paint, describe reasons why paint is left over, recommend strategies for reducing the generation of paint waste, and recommend annual goals for the reduction of post-consumer paint. Proposals of up to $50,000 will be accepted. See the full Request for Proposals (PDF) for details.

Paint Stewardship Program Public Awareness Survey: To evaluate public awareness of the architectural paint stewardship program in Oregon, PaintCare and PSI are soliciting proposals from qualified parties to develop, conduct, and analyze the results of a survey of Oregon households. See the full Request for Proposals (PDF) for details.
