
Become part of the product stewardship movement in the Northwest. Whether you want to help design programs or just get the latest news, there is a membership level for you:
- Community Memberย โ any interested individual or organization can sign up to receive monthly updates and announcements from the NWPSC.
- Associate Memberย โ any local, state, regional or federal government agency or non-profit organization that supports the NWPSC mission and product stewardship policies and programs.
- NWPSC Steering Committee Membersย โ limited to 15 local or state governments that serve on the Steering Committee and meet monthly.
Community Member
Community members are interested individuals and members of governments, businesses and non-profits who support product stewardship and are interested in staying informed about the NWPSC and product stewardship activities in the Northwest. Community Members receive updates once or twice a month about new programs, legislation and opportunities for involvement through the NWPSC email updates.
Associate Member
To join the NWPSC as an Associate Member, please read theย NWPSC Associates Pledge of Supportย and fill out the form below.
NWPSC Associate Members are local, state, regional and federal government agencies, and non-profit organizations that agree to support theย NWPSC missionย and product stewardship policies and programs as authorized by their agency or organization. Associate Members can participate in any of the Council Committees upon request, approved by the Steering Committee. Associate Members:
- Advocate for product stewardship legislative activities endorsed by the NWPSC by signing letters, testifying in support of bills, or participating in other activities as deemed appropriate by their agency or organization.
- Will receive news and information about product stewardship policies and programs through the monthlyย Newsletter.
- Have access to individuals with product stewardship expertise and forums for information sharing.
The undersigned supports theย NWPSC’s mission. Upon submittal of this Pledge of Support form, you will be contacted by a representative of the NWPSC.
NWSPC Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is the organizing and managing body of the Council. Members are representatives of government agencies and associations in Washington and Oregon who have signed a Letter of Agreement supporting product stewardship. Steering Steering Committee members participate in Council Committee activities and their representative organizations provide funding and staff time to help implement NWPSC activities.
